This year's theme:
A Cascade of Light

Who doesn’t love a good story, a beautiful narrative poem, well-put observations?
Since you’re a reader, a writer, and/or a fan of literature -- and since you have to
eat anyway -- plan to dine with a courtyard full of folks who enjoy the kind of
writing that you like. Feed your senses and your belly at the same time
-
- and have fun doing it!

Publisher Kate Larken & MotesBooks have organized the
2nd Annual MotesBooks Summer Literary Supper!
Join us Thursday, June 19, in the courtyard at Artemisia.
This fantastic Louisville dining establishment is committed to
supporting the literary, musical, and visual arts.
(The restaurant even gets its name from one of Europe’s historic women painters!)

It's more than your average reading or literary event. Meet MotesBooks authors,
hear what they have written, enjoy some music, relax and get your literary fix.
We’ll start at 6 p.m. Drop in whenever you can.

SCHEDULED EVENTS:
- Readings from celebrated MotesBooks’ authors (a variety of brilliant voices)
- Announcements of
new & upcoming books and recording projects
-
Music interspersed with the readings
-
Door prizes – (1) winner’s choice of a MotesBooks CD or book;
(2) an Artemesia gift certificate to offset your evening’s supper tab
